Ensana Grand Margaret Island Hotel Budapest

We had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel located on a peaceful island, surrounded by a beautiful park. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with impressive chandeliers and views of the Danube. The bathroom was modern and well-equipped. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast was varied and delicious. We also enjoyed the spa facilities in the sister hotel, a short walk away.

The hotel could have paid more attention to details, as some furniture in our room was in bad shape.

We had a great stay here, located slightly outside of the central areas, this hotel was situated in the most beautiful and leafy park. It was around a 15-minute walk from the hustle and bustle of this busy city. The service room was exceptional, with dry cleaning, 24-hour room service, and housekeeping being just some of the amenities on offer. The in-room safe was a real bonus for peace of mind and the shops/commercial services were great for picking up souvenirs. The staff were fantastic, always willing to go above and beyond for us during our stay.

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the spa facilities. The pools at different temperatures were a delight, and the cold-water pebble-bedded walkway was a unique experience. The steam room, aroma room, and sauna with the ice-cold plunge pool were all amazing additions to the spa. The architectural beauty of the building was a treat for the eyes, with wide corridors and high ceilings. My room was bright, airy, and clean, providing a comfortable and pleasant stay. The location of the hotel, surrounded by the park of Margitsziget, added to the overall charm.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and convenient location for exploring the city on foot. Spa access through tunnel is a nice bonus. Complimentary coffee and croissants available daily.

Old-style hotel on a beautiful island with a great SPA. No public transportation due to construction. Helpful staff, but only one restaurant nearby. Pools and fitness area are excellent, with English instructions. Rooms well-equipped. Ongoing restoration non-disturbing. Great value for luxury.

During my Christmas stay, I thoroughly enjoyed the tastefully decorated reception and public areas which really captured the beauty of the season. The hotel staff were professional, friendly, and accommodating, making my experience lovely. The fitness center offered inclusive and enjoyable classes, and the spa reception staff were informative and helpful. the breakfast selection was great, offering a wide variety of options to start the day off right.

Didn't dislike anything about the hotel.

We were initially disappointed with our room, but the staff at Ensana quickly upgraded us to a better room with all the facilities we needed for our elderly family member. The spaciousness and elegant decor of the room were excellent. We especially loved the large balcony overlooking the park, where we could relax and enjoy the peaceful area. The bed was comfortable, and having bathrobes and slippers provided added a luxurious touch to our stay. The hotel's dining options were varied and offered a good choice of tasty dishes. We enjoyed the a la carte menu for dinner with a nice selection to choose from and the food was served quickly and hot. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of food, although the coffee could have been better. The location of the hotel on Margaret Island was fantastic, providing a calm and quiet environment away from the bustling city center. We loved exploring the island and found plenty of interesting things to do. we had a superb break at Ensana. The attentive and friendly staff, along with the comfortable accommodations, made it one of the best city breaks we've had. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were professional and the rooms were large and clean. The location on the lovely Margaret island was perfect for a relaxing stay. The hotel facilities, including the spa and fitness center, were excellent. We also appreciated the availability of parking at a reasonable price.

The hotel is located on the Bridge overlooking the island, surrounded by beautifully kept public gardens. The rooms are comfortable with brand new bathrooms. The staff is helpful and the breakfast is delicious. Guests can enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot pool at the neighboring hotel.

Some previous guests have mentioned that the furniture in the rooms is a bit dated.

We also enjoyed the health resort facilities, especially the fantastic massage and the beautifully appointed thermal baths. The hotel exudes class and charm, with its old-school grandeur and retro furnishings. The location on the leafy Margit's Island was perfect for us, providing a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, yet still within easy reach of the city center. The fast Wi-Fi and nice view from our room were also great bonuses. we had a great time and would be more than happy to recommend this place to our family and friends.
